The Plancius is a beautiful ship built for smooth, elegant sailing on heavy ice-packed seas. Sleek and graceful, she glides through choppy waters almost silently, making for a completely serene Antarctica cruise.

The Plancius is a well-loved polar expedition ship that accommodates just 116 passengers per voyage, making her a great choice for an intimate and exclusive Antarctica cruise. She is an ice-class vessel, built to tackle the Antarctica terrain with grace and ease whilst keeping her guests in complete comfort.

All of the cabins aboard the Plancius are excellently appointed with outside views, so expeditioners can relax and repose whilst gazing out over the changing Antarctica panoramas. On selected voyages, specialist photography workshops are offered, adding a unique twist to any Antarctica adventure. With an unparalleled range of ‘Basecamp’ activities and ample opportunities for both polar diving and bird watching, there really is something for everyone during an Antarctica cruise aboard The Plancius.
